Refinancing Your Mortgage

Refinancing can be a smart strategy to achieve a more manageable monthly payment if you are looking to free up funds for other goals, reduce financial stress, or to improve your cash flow. 

 

Options to Consider

  • Lower Interest Rate: when the market permits. This can potentially lead to huge money savings over the life of your mortgage loan and allocate those savings elsewhere. 
  • Cash Out: where you borrow more than your current mortgage loan balance and receive the difference in cash. This allows you to tap into your home's equity and convert it into liquid funds that you can use for other purposes, like paying off credit debt, buying a new car, or as a down payment on another home.
  • Switch to a Fixed-Rate: If you have an Adjustable-Rate Mortgage (ARM), providing you stability and peace of mind while eliminating the uncertainty of market rate fluctuations. 
  • Increase the Term: if you are looking for lower monthly payments.
  • Decrease the Term: if you want to pay your mortgage off faster with higher monthly payments.
